We offer a variety of services including one-on-one and small group personal training, group exercise classes for pregnancy and for moms, and workshops on topics of interest to pregnant women and moms and fitness professionals (diastasis recti, pelvic floor, prenatal exercise safety, fitness for moms).

Whether you’re trying to conceive and want to get in shape first, you’re pregnant and want to have your healthiest pregnancy, you’re a new mom who wants to exercise with your baby, or you’re a seasoned mom who hasn’t exercised in a long time but want to start, Ready. After healing from an eating disorder, Jaymie made exercise, exercise in a moderate, sustainable way, a part of her lifestyle.  When she became pregnant with her first, she began looking for advice on what exercises were safe and what the recommendations were for exercising during pregnancy.  Much to her disappointment, neither her OB nor the midwives in the practice she switched to could offer her any satisfying answers (in fact, they gave conflicting advice!).  She decided to take matters into her own hands by enrolling in a prenatal/postpartum exercise specialist certification program.  Though her original intention was just to learn the fundamentals of prenatal exercise for her own use, it wasn’t long before she realized the huge need for support for pregnant women around exercise.  Fast forward to today, educating and training women who are who are pregnant and who are moms is Jaymie’s passion.  She loves to work with women who don’t love to exercise and to help them find a way to incorporate exercise into their lives in a sustainable way.

Jaymie holds a Master’s in Education, and Bachelor’s in Psychology, is a certified Prenatal/Postpartum Exercise Specialist, a Pilates Level 1 – Mat Instructor, a Holistic Prenatal Yoga Instructor and a certified NASM Personal Trainer.  In addition, she received extensive training in Life Coaching and is a certified Co-Active Leadership Trainer, and what she learned from these trainings always appear in her work with clients.  Jaymie is also a musician whose albums vary from Children’s Music to Jazz to Americana (you can find her on iTunes!), and a children’s book writer.  Most importantly, Jaymie is mama to Sam (5) and Acadia (3) and wife to multi-talented fellow teacher and musician, Geb Zurburg.
